    Hi,

A quick intro from me whilst I'm at work and on my phone.

I'm in the process of selling my Mitsubishi l200 Warrior and am looking for a 2.4 Accord Tourer Type-S.

Also into biking (building a Ducati Monster) dogs (x2 Collies) and more recently going to France.

Struggling to find that many cars around that match my criteria so please feel free to link any suitable ads.

    Many thanks,

    Ben

Welcome along @NottsBiker , a 2.4 Tourer is a good choice you will find a decent PFL for decent money . The PLF are cheaper on VED than the FL ones.

    Thanks for the welcomes

I did not realise that the different ages affected the tax bracket.

Welcome to the club, the difference on VED for the Pre-Facelift and Facelift Tourer is close to double the price. Though of course the Facelift has numerous improvements, it depends what your priorities are

I wouldn't rule out the Exec Tourers either, more toys, full leather, sunroof, same engine.

Am I right in thinking that the Type-S only got the extra body parts and lost the sat nav?

Sold my Mitsubishi today so now looking for some new wheels. Bloke drove all the way from Devon to pick it up = crazy!

The Sat Nav was optional on the Type-S, mine has one. The Type-S has different front and rear lips as well as side skirts, part leather seats, carbon trim fascias, red dash cluster, no sunroof but is overall around 80KGs lighter IIRC.

Good things to learn as I was considering an executive and adding the kit later but will just look for the Type-S alone now.

Retrofitting quite a few bits is very involved, I would suggest if you're going to want the Exec kit at some point to do it from the start

80kg weight reduction is a bonus too. Do you know if they run lower / stiffer audience at all?

If memory serves, the Type-S has 10% stiffer springs than the Exec. The part numbers are definitely different.

    Thanks for the info

I knew when I had a vti Civic that was slightly lower and I think stiffer than a regular Civic so hoped it would be for the accord.

Can anyone tell me all the colours that the PFL S cane in at all?

    Pre-Facelift:

    Facelift:

There is some cross over with various colours been sold for different periods of time, also there was a rare white option on the late '08 Facelift.
