    Hi and welcome,

Have a read around the forum, sounds like a 7th Generation VSA module fault.

Dealer or 2nd hand one, or BBA reman maybe, google them.

That's good news then as the VSA module is not known to fail on the petrol models (it's Japanese supplied as opposed to German supplied on the diesel).

Get it to a Honda dealer or Honda independent specialist, they can read the code using HDS and also do a reset of the VSA module.

I had the VSA light come on on my car last year. A simple reset from the HDS cleared the issue.

Where abouts are you in the West Midlands ?

low battery voltage can create a trouble code within the ABS/VSA due to a loss of communication betwwen it and the ECU. could be as simple as that. as far as dealers ripping people off i would remind people it is honda that price the parts and there isnt much labour in there replacment. if you go the right way about things there is an extended warrantie from honda and depending on the age and mileage you may at leist get the modulator payed for by honda. its an unfortunate issue but one honda does its best to help with i can assure you. for comparrison modern VW diesel fuel injectors are VERY common to fail at £1000 a peice. VW will NOT give any good will towards them, nothing, driver is on there own.

Hi people just had my VSA/ABS module repaired it's funny I took my car to Honda main dealer with warning light on the dashboard VSA and triagle light , they ran the tests and they said ABS module needs replacing I said ok I ask how much they said inc fitting £1800 I almost fell over laughing ( I thought he was joking) any way I found a company that repair all types of modules /ECU well anything electronic control units I sent mine to them via special delivery and they repaired it for £165+vat = £198 + £18 . on the 2.2i-CDTI models the ABS module are made in Germany bosch and these fail (so much for german quality) , they fail on internal pressure sensor inside the module. any way people I thought I share this with you all never by a new one get yours repaired theres a big difference between £1800 and £218 also they give a life time warranty with the repaired units...all the best

Hi everyone Please Help ABS & VSA Lights on Dash

    Nice one Steve,
I've heard a few people sending their units to them recently. Much cheaper option.
