The following Nav's thread and his issues with his Sat Nav.This thread for all potential second hand owners planning to buy a pre facelift cars with a the factory fitted Satellite Navigation system. it again highlights cars being serviced outside the Honda dealer network would never been aware of this Honda TSB.The following chassis code are affected by this condition. Honda released this TSB very early on to advise dealers of this situation. I can sympathise with second hand owner of fleet cars,they are left reeling with problems after parting with their cash. (The vehicle location on the navigation screen jumps to a different country or the sea). The Cause The radio tuner is generating a matching frequency wave to the satellite navigation which jams the incoming navigation signal. The Fix The integrated circuit of the radio tuner unit has been modified so that it will not generate a matching frequency band to the satellite radio wave of the navigation system. This update was applied to all cars after 2006 at the factory. The Repair method. The entire centre console needs to be replaced the part number is 39050-SEA-G81ZB it retails at (£6,104.15) this part would have been replaced for free under standard manufacturers warranty.
