    CR-V recall

It could be that but this seems a much bigger recall.
It did remind me of the Jszz issue though when I read it.

Honda late in the evening released this information

Depending on usage conditions, water or other liquids may enter the driver’s side master power window switch resulting in impaired function of the switch. If the master power window switch is damaged as a result of the water intrusion it may result in failure of the switch and overheating. Overheating of the switch can cause smoke or melting, or potentially, fire. The repair method will consist of an inspection of the switch and the installation of an external cover to prevent water from entering the switch. Honda (UK) is in the process of confirming the affected vehicle details to proceed with obtaining the registered owner details from the DVLA.

As a precaution and Honda suggest avoid allowing excessive moisture to get onto the window switch area. Please make sure the window is rolled up during wet weather or when your are washing your car.All registered owners will be contacted by Honda (UK) as soon as is possible once DVLA data and the required replacement parts are available.
