    Hi Guys,

I want to reinstate my previous offer on all pervious Honda Accord forums. I am offering Honda diagnostics & troubleshooting for Accord members & other Honda's owners on AOC. I had a similar offer on all previous forums, which was very well received and I have helped a few dozen Accord owners along the way. True to our mission statement of this club and the passion for all things Honda I want to extend my services to the AOC family. This club was founded on the principles to assist all Honda & Accord owners where others with no profit motives or commercial intent.. The offer is Free Honda Diagnostics or AOC members using Genuine Honda HIM with Latest HDS software, this is not a cheap clone which have suddenly flooded the market this is the real thing which is used is currently being used in the UK at all Honda dealers.

What can the HIM and HDS do?

it’s a tool which connects to your car’s DLC ( Data Link Connector) OBD2 port and it interrogates all the Honda Subsystems as shown here

    HImMainMenu.

The list of things it can do is endless there is no point listing its capabilities. This is your one stop shop for the entire Honda Stable, be that Petrol or a Diesel Honda. If you want an issue looking into or a solution with a permanent fix this is the device have on your side. I have over fourteen year of experience with Honda diagnostics tools and it predecessors and an assure members I am confident in my abilities to give you this service for FREE.

    Few pointers regarding this service.
    • The initial contact will be done to me via PM aka Personal Message
    • You have to be an active member on here with at least 20 posts or above.
    • This service is only available in Leeds via appointment only on the weekends.
    • Only one member at a time and please NO entourage of mates tagging along. One car one member.
    • No monies will be EVER exchanged or payment in kind.

It will be an informal chat over a few coffee or tea, I will show you the entire process and educate you on what to look out for and talk about all things Honda.

    On a side Note..

If anyone wants to buy a cheap Chinese HIM clone I have extensively tested and broke a few of these devices. If you want to get the clone kit for yourself and be in charge of repairing your car, I will be happy to assist in getting them set up and give you all the pitfalls and limitation of the clone device. If used incorrectly the clone device can and is known to brick ECU's and immobiliser systems. Anyone offering to repair or upload ECU images using CM update or fixing a car with an active immobiliser ...be prepared to run for your life. It not worth 45 pounds. However some people have figured out CMupdates on Clone using older CD which is tied into EPROM firmwares. So for the users who charge for this service and figured this out please do tell your customers it’s not the latest or a version recognised by Honda. If anyone wants to learn how to use them more than welcomed, learning to use them effectively comes with experience and not by following on screen prompts.

    Top offer CJ!

Guys you won't get a better offer than this and in the hands of someone who knows what he's doing with it.

Just to reiterate this is the same kit that main dealers use and a read of faults at a main dealer would set you back £50+ and possibly more if there are problems found. Take my hat off to you mate!

Just to add a little bit to this already fantastic deal. I have a MAXIscan reader which will read and reset generic faults. Anyone near Huddersfield needs this service as with CJ I will offer FOC on the same terms as him. This will not interogate the specialist ECU's and is very limited compared to CJ's.

I think I'll definitely be taking you up on this offer later in the year CJ. While my car is running fine with no apparent problems it would be nice to get the car looked over by you with all your knowledge and equipment to make sure it's in the best of health.

But 1st I want to strip and clean the EGR system to see if it's been run on supermarket fuel or shell VPD by the previous owner, plus a clean wouldn't do it any harm. And 2nd I'm going to treat it to a can of BG244.

Cheers. You're a 120 mile trip up the A1 from me but it will be worth it for the knowledge and reassurance it's a good car and running 100%

Haha, no worries on the post count. It'll be a couple of months yet so plenty of time to get that up.

It is here and in mint condition and everything works perfectly. All I had to do was change the 6 AA rechargeable batteries and we have lift off.

The cards is from 2002 which was the last major update before HDS replaced the PGM tester. So anyone with early PGM-FI car till the 2002 and diesel it can be interrogated.

My services are free for all AOC members as ever.
