Aye, I had the same reaction and had to control the rage. This is what a tyre fitter told me today as I got my rear puncture fixed and we were chatting about my Mazda which led onto me discussing my Accord.

Unfortunately they are excellent at balancing tyres but what would make him think such a thing about Honda's engines?

I'll forgive you... This time. :Baseballbat:
I'll assume you had a little typo at the thought of someone slagging off a Honda.

Like any mechanical product, even Honda, if you don't look after it, then it won't last.
Is the perceived problem the engine or the owner :Tea:

Is the surgeon with the high mortality rate hopeless,
    OR
is it that he is willing to try his best for his patient when others only operate on the easy cases?

The single most valid point for never discounting a car based on high mileage.

I have seen some serious scrap with low miles, simply uncared for, no money spent on upkeep or maintenance and when something broke it was replaced with the cheapest crappiest bit of guff they could find. Yet at the same time, arrive and find a 150k mile car on good tyres, immaculate, fully serviced with private servicings between the main dealer ones for the same money or less.

I know which is going to be the more reliable and more enjoyable to own
