I will post a few pictures of the generator last on this week all polished up, its had a rough life knocking around pillar to post so its has dents and scratches but I will soon get the shiny bits all power coated again.

I love this generator so much I have bought another one but in brand new condition with 2 hours only, more pictures to follow soon. I say bring on the blackout I am armed with 2 KWa and that will do me fine,

LOL look at the time on the clock mate they have gone to bed!! It was bloody freeing in the garage mate and I chicken out and sneaked in. I just blamed the petrol fumes next morning down to my clothes in the wash pile..:Innocent:

The kitchen was left spotless and disinfected so no suspicion mate :spiteful: unless one of you opens your mouth :whip:

Just an update on this thread,

This generator had it fuel tank cleaned , de-rusted and protected and a fuel filter as been fitted before the carb. The genny runs so well its remarkable how quite it is just fantastic how well these were made by Honda. It generates power cleanly and just needs all its tins polishing and some will need power coating to return to mint condition.

BTW I have picked up another 3-4 other generators in the meantime this early Honda generator thing is becoming into a obsession.:Yahoo:

I now have 3 Honda E 300E from the 1960's two completely mint in working order the third one which barely runs and needs a lot of work which can restored and got going but I will use it for parts.
I have another mint Ex1000 made in 1998 which has been restored to my standard.
A brand new mint EM300E (early 70's) which is being restored a new thread to follow.
A mint EX650 (early 80's) which is being restored a new thread to follow.
