    HRC today announced a new competitive pricing strategy for the NSF100, NSF250R racing machines and NSF250R Engine across its European markets. The strategy is designed to make the ‘entry level’ racing series more accessible for younger riders to participate in motor racing.The NSF100, introduced in 2006, has a performance 99cc air-cooled 4-stroke single engine and is designed for track use only. The NSF100 has become a firm favourite of aspiring young racers across Europe. Its bigger brother the NSF250R has a 249cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC single cylinder engine which packs a maximum power of 35.5kW/ 13,000rpm, maximum torque of 28.0N・m/10,500rpm and has proved itself on racing tracks across the world.

    The NSF100 is a four-stroke 100cc single cylinder mini race replica, complete with racebike looks, fully adjustable suspension and race-type gear shift pattern (one up three down). It weighs a mere 73.6kg, has 1074mm wheelbase and comes in white.

    The NSF250R Engine is a 249cc DOHC liquid cooled single cylinder engine designed under the concept “Light weight, Compact, High-Output and High-Efficiency". A higher charging efficiency has been achieved by positioning the intake port on the front side of the cylinder and the exhaust at the rear. The cylinder has an inclining angle of 15 degrees to the rear which contributes to the concentration of mass. Positioning the balancer-shaft above the crank-shaft has made the unit very compact in overall length (See NSF250R engine specifications in the above chart).
