General Honda UK site annoying me...

    Why would any company ever permit this to happen when a potential customer is speccing up a car.

    probably because you might have selected options that would otherwise be grouped as part of a package. I do agree however that Honda's customization module is probably one of the worse as it lets you select individual options and then asks you to add package and most of the time things clash and you have to go back and forth only to realize that you have added plastic door garnish as well as metal ones which are coming as part of a package.

    I agree it's a bit clumsy to say the least.

    For example it lets you add parking sensors to a CR-V EX making it look even more expensive (thus putting customers off?) like they wouldn't be standard fit on EX trim anyway....

    I reckon they do it if you have multiple electrical accessories to safeguard the threshold for safe usage . How many electrical items were they in your selection .
