Hmmm unorthadox !!
before watching the whole *selfie video* i skipped through all of it to make sure it contains no car falling off the scissor jack!
Not the best supported, nor the best way to replace pads. However I have done it that way, when I had some stuborn slider bolts that refused to budge. But it required lots of swearing to get them off.
^^As someone who wouldn't have a clue where to start, I rather liked the video...
The video is err ... "interesting" shall we say
Firstly there is a matter of safety, a flimsy scissor jack under the subframe isn;t a very safe way to go about this job. Should really be using a hydraulic jack with stands.
Then removing the entire caliper to change the pads is not the normal way to do the job. You need to remove just the calipers and not the calipers with the slider part.
There was also no cleaning for greasing done whatsoever. In fact a lot of the videos on youtube on brakes make the same mistakes.
Of course to see the correct procedure you just need to look at the guides on HondaKarma.com
Brakes? Watched it a few times and never spotted any brakes!
You were watching the airbag system too closely Duc
