    Accord Touer CW3 2009,2010,2011,2012
    The Symptoms

Honda have found the 8th Generation Accord exhibiting the symptoms of the engine is very difficult to turnover especially when weather is cold. Another trait is during engine warm up idle RPM is erratic.

    The Cause

The root cause down to combustion deposit accumulated on fuel injector, decreasing the amount of fuel injected during initial start period.

    The Fix

The ECU data was changed in order to prevent the amount of fuel injection from decreasing during engine start. All members who experiencing any of these symptoms will need to visit the dealer for them to update the software on your car. it will take no more than half an hour to complete this.

    Remap customers

You will need to speak to you remapping firm for them to address this issue.

The typical File uploader will say to their customers , Honda make mindless changes to their software our map is far superior and does not need these mindless updates.

The latest is file uploaders are remove DTC code out of the ECU so the light on the dash does not light up or the code is not reported. They know their maps are so bad they have to resort to this tactics !! That one way of keeping your customers away from miethering them.

"yes mate our remaps are tested on loads of cars and we don't have any issues" sure you do its been suppressed :Rolf:
