Alot of people worry or panic when the DPF light comes on the dashboard. It's nothing to worry about, basically you need to take the car for a journey on the motorway to get the DPF to the correct temperature to clean the system.

All the information needed is on this site and is very self explanatory.

If the light comes on and people ignore it and don't run the car to the correct temp an exclamation mark will also appear. This is to inform you there is a blockage and you will need to book your car in with a Honda dealer.

At Phoenix Close Honda Specialists we have the the equipment to carry out a DPF regeneration to the exact same standard your car would receive at a main dealer.

For this service we are charging £40 all inclusive.

The first five AOC members to take up this offer will only be charged £20 all inclusive.

    Regards

    Chris

Sounds an excellent offer, even at £40. However I hope not to have to take it up!

Chris you need to emphasise your HIM and HDS is on the latest code the same Honda dealers are using now. This is no cheap Chinese cloned unit its the real deal... club member need to be assured if you need ECU updates or DPF regeneration to the latest code then look no further, Chris can do it . The Yorkshire cowboys r us offering the DPF regen using the Chinese cloned cannot offer the correct regen using a fixed hacked code. Why waste your time and money with anyone without a clue. Premium tuning from Halifax is after your money... Think twice before you go to that cowboy

The HDS can reset ECU's although im not 100% sure if this applies to a mapped car. I have a stock ECU here if you need it.

Tourer and Saloons have slightly different maps so be careful of swapping ECU between these cars.

prefacelift and facelift also have some minor revisions.

I`m still looking thanks CJ. You`ll be pleased to hear that I`m also looking at petrol, seeing as I don`t really do the mileage.

I`ll get in touch with Elite and get the map sorted one way or the other
