... the mischievous part of me finds this rather hilarious. Three Smart cars tipped over, one on its back, one on it's side and one over onto to it's top all on the same night, allegedly by the same gang.

San Francisco sees spate of Smart tipping [w/video] - Autoblog

It's like this gang were experimenting or something.

Hahahahaha, this reminds me of when we tried cow tipping and epicly failed. To be fair I'm pretty sure we could do this to one of those older Merc A-Classes?

I'd imagine you could do it to a fair few cars. I would be fun to tip a car just to see how hard it is, of course you wouldn't want to do it someone elses property out of spite.

There was a similar spate of Reliant 3-Wheelers being turned over round here a few years ago.

Personally I find this type of thing distasteful. It causes damage and distress but is often seen as a 'prank' or a 'bit of fun.'

If they ever find the culprits (unlikely I know) then the punishment should be for the car owner to visit where they live, choose any item from their home, and then stay to see it destroyed in front of them.

As you may have guessed, things like this irritate me slightly...and not just because I rather like Smart cars. And Reliant 3-Wheelers as it goes...:dunce:

    So...
Is anyone in the Buckinghamshire area up for a spot of 'CR-V tipping' then?

It's a heavy car @Zebster and I'd hate to have to get blood off my driveway when it falls on somebody...

This sort of thing goes on from time to time everywhere.
The first couple of cars I had use of when I passed my driving test, while my car was being restored for putting on the road, all those years ago were my mums reliant regal & robin van.

On more than one occasion the reliant was found to have been picked up and moved & a couple of times rolled onto its side.
Really annoying and my mother got quite upset by it, luckily not much damage was done as both cars were rough to say the least.

Many years later a friend at the time admitted that on more than one occasion it was him and his brother having a laugh moving the car.

It was only the other day that a 2CV was tipped over on its side whilst parked overnight in a pub car park so it still goers on.

I really don't see what people doing that get out of it.

It's amusing in a TV programme but it is vandalism in real life and not funny at all and dangerous to say the least
And you do not know the possible consequences - it can be quite electrifying

Many years ago back in my younger days one of my mates used to park his mini in their family garage. One day, we thought it was funny to bounce it sideways inside of the garage so he couldn't get it out on the morning of a job interview

We found it funny anyway....

Did he get the job ?
    Answer
At the job interview he was asked to describe a challenging moment in his life to date and how he overcame it
To which he replied sorting out transport to get to the interview explaing the fundamental technique of getting his car out of the garage
Went down a storm and got the job
    Magician LOL

Ah the joys of youth ! :excited:  :excited:
