Phew what a LONG day, the five month wait for my built to order tourer is finally over . The drive back from from stoke was excellent just love the way the car drive and handles. It was also an ideal opportunity to give the car a good shakedown, testing all the ADAS features. I could not test CMBS fully but it did give me a tug on the seatbelts to remind me which is very reassuring.

When I got to Stoke today my car was in the workshop getting the sport steering fitted when I noticed the rear privacy glasses. :OTT:Apparently unknown to me the 2013 car EX models have rear privacy glasses as standard what massive surprise for me! I was going down the sunshade or filming route but these are even better. So thank you Honda you have made me very happy and it was the icing on the cake.

Sport steering wheel fitted and leather gaiter fitted by Holdcroft Honda to make the experience better for me. I don't like vinyl and that had to go no matter what. l have to say to all the 8th Generation owners you have to get the steering wheel changed it is FANTASTIC the grip position is exceptional.

The car picture when picked up from Holdcroft , i didn't want it washed or prepared. They did the PDI and the two accessories. I wanted the wash and detail the car to my standard. Tomorrow more pictures of the exterior.

    Congrats on the delivery!

Not sure I could live with that light interior, but its very nice indeed. Welcome, at long last, to the 8th Generation club! Oh, and the elite ADAS club, which I think I'm currently on my own in at the moment until you got yours!!

    1) wooden HRC bike for my Honda collection very rare now.
    2) boot liner
    3) step garnish non backlit ones. don't like the idea of front lit ones.( Too cold to fit them today, the adhesive will not adhere perfectly)
    4) Sports pedals will fit them later.
    5) Exterior Door protection strip I think will give them a miss or return them.. (don't like the design it will wreck the clean lines of the car)

    6) that all for now

Cheers Saj , I happy I went for the light interior because the black exterior colour on black interior is an overkill. Secondly 99% of all Accord sold are black interiors, I was determined not to fall into that category. Yes the ADAS club is exclusive and good to have a buddy  .It is very special its just works period, it takes the stress away in 50 mile zones like on the M62

    Yep ADAS rules.

couldn't live without it now. Unless of course it makes its way onto the new CR-V and then perhaps....

Oh yes I couldn't sleep last night. As for the number plate Holdcroft were kind enough to show me their entire allocation of numbers, it was a case of selecting it

I will be changing the plates BTW to another one soon.
