Ichiban, this is not real, so don't go having an MI.
We want you around for a little while longer.
    :Pathead:

If Honda didn't exist what car would you have now?

For myself, I don't know yet.
I would have to do a huge amount of research to find a safe, reliable, economical and aesthetically beautiful machine.

Probably give a Kia/Hyundai a go. Best of the rest Toyota, anything German or French won't do it for me even if they are 'cooler' or 'better'.

    Thanks Andy.
I have no appetite for French, German or Italian for my everyday car. :Drinks:

Lexus, Alfa and Mercedes for me.

    Lexus at young
    Alfa during mid life crisis
    Mercedes as I get old

For me it would have to be a Jaguar of some sort. I have always promised myself a Jaguar after driving my brothers 2nd Generation ( British racing green) when I was not even old enough to drive. It was on a bit of land by my dad's house and I have never forgotten it. It would be interesting to see the crossover they are talking about.

Most likely Lexus would be parked on my drive.

    Don't Panic.

    It's all hypothetical.

I could easily be swayed towards Lexus or Jaguar

For a daily, I'd likely be with Lexus (IS /GS). To be honest it'd be a case of just trying to find the best JDM luxury performance saloon. Other than that, I have a soft-spot for Volvo (S60/80).

For a weekend/track car I'd be going with a Toyota Supra or Nissan Silvia S15.

As I'm getting old and boring I'd have a Volvo V70 for lugging the family and dog about and a Ducati 996 or 748 for me.

Subaru would be in with a big chance, as would Lexus. If non-Japanese then probably Volvo.

In terms of car I would of bought a P11 Primera GT, failing that a Subaru Legacy :Hey:

but in terms of brand I would be lost without Honda, nothing else quite stirs the soul

Lexus IS or Alfa 159 for the next few yrs, then I feel a Jag would be more suitable after either of those.
