Just renewed my insurance, with 10 years NCD and only 6k a year use, it came back as £220.
    Very happy with that.

I did note that on compare the market, one company quoted £900, yeah right.

Worst I got was £12000 odd just two years ago - that's 24x the cars value :Wassat:

It's like a pity quote really, whenever I use those compare sites I only get a handful of results whilst the others just reject me so instead they ask for ridiculous sums instead.

I'm the same, I can get some quotes at £18k plus, or at least I did when I first started driving.

Nice, that's excellent value duc de pommfrit.
Currently paying 250 fully comp with 11 yrs NCB on 10k a year miles on the Accord.
The Prelude is currently at £238 for 3k miles a year and the wifes Ford Puma is at £211 a year for 7k miles a year.
Overall not bad for all three cars. Multicar policy is really handy.

I paid £316 or thereabouts this year via one of the comparison sites, I changed insurers as my previous one was saying roughly £550, so was a no brainer, a week or two later got a letter from new insurers saying the price was a mistake but they will honor it lol, so if it goes up on renewal I will switch again. Of course that lovely bit of saving I made, I had to spend it all on the exhaust when the Cat got nicked, typical... :Violin:

It's Sod's law isn't it, you cannot predict such things just take it on the chin and move along. There is nothing called as savings in the long run something else comes along and bites you in the backside.

We renewed the Mrs Fiesta insurance this weekend, renewal was £515 from current supplier but got it for £315 after some searches and with better cover. Although I think in the past she has just accepted the renewal figure.
