    Hi guys.

I've tried searching but to no avail.

The interior boot release on my 8th Generation doesn't work. I'm not sure if a certain condition has to be met for it to work but I've tried it with the engine off, on, ignition on etc.

Furthermore, the button on the boot also doesn't work.

Is there a fix for this?

    Cheers,

    Jack

    Sorted it.

There's a switch in the glove box which was turned to off

Unfortunately, don't have an 8th Generation, and was not aware of the switch, until now.

It's a switch that I never even noticed until I was purposely looking for it, then it was obvious.

I'm guessing it's a safety precaution to stop people opening it when driving in stop-start traffic?
