You think Bongo is bad, Vamos Hobio, Life Dunk or Zest Spark are some great Honda ones. Even with the one I own they don't even spell Wagon but StepWGN. They do seem to have a flair for names. I tried to convince my better half to get a Bongo as a camper a few years ago and she shot it down just due to the name.

Mazda Laputa and Mitsubishi Pajero are also classics - if you understand a bit of Spanish anyway...... I'll not translate in the public section of the forum as they may offend someone

Even better than Chevrolet's classic Chevrolet Nova "no va" meaning "doesn't go" in Spanish - they wondered why they sold none in Latin America.

I knew a Spanish lass once who found it hilarious when we saw a Mitsubishi Pajero parked in the street (It's called Mitsubishi Montero in Spain)

Then there is of course the Toyota MR2 which had to be shortened to just MR in French speaking markets as the French pronunciation of MR2 sounds like the French for "it's $#!tty"

The state of some Mazdas I've seen I'm surprised they picked Mazda 3 as Mazda Rustoleum would've been a more fitting name.

Honda always seem to have picked decent names outside of Japan. I'm struggling to think of a naff Honda name that was officially for export to Europe anyway.
