    It's very addictive...But very satisfying.
Have fun and don't forget to upload some pictures of the results.

    Oooooh mama, liking the DAS-6
Didn't have time to do the whole thing, but gave the bonnet a couple of coats of Black Hole then one of Blue Velvet after my usual washing routine, it's gleaming I tell thee.
Gonna have to work up the courage to hit it with the Sonax & the orange pads next time...
    Time for a beer

Not convinced it needs clayed, paint still feels very smooth after washing (car only 4 months old). Happy to be corrected tho, still learning about this detailing malarky. Always appreciate any advice from you guys, who know much more than I do.
    Standard wash pre DA:
    Auto Finesse Citrus Shine
    Rinse
    ValetPro pH Neutral snow foam
    Rinse
2 bucket wash with Autoglym shampoo
    Rinse
Dry off with Meguiars water magnets
    Break out the power tools

It's worth doing a quick clay before using a DA other wise you're just rubbing grit around the surface.

If your clay bar is the same colour after you've gone over your car, I would be very surprised.
It's amazing how much it will pick up. Just make sure you keep it well lubricated during use.

    Hi Rob T
I'm assuming you did your research prior to opting for the machine you bought - with the plethora of choice available what made you pick what you did??
I have been looking at the Megiuar options ideally the 320 ??
Anyway I look forward to the pics of your efforts with the DA ! Remember the before and after shots
    Cheers

@musicman580 I have the same polisher and used it many times. To give you a taste of what its like you can see my garage entry for the accord and Civic. A more recent one is my detail from last week
