Suspension, Steering and Brakes knocking

    hi all, i have an annoying knocking coming from the front drivers side suspension...only does when going over bumps of any size...the bloke who did the MOT said it was the driveshaft bearing and wasnt worth worrying about...was he telling porkies or should i get it sorted ASAP...what sort of job is it ( im not a complete dunce with a spanner )

    How did he determine this ? Did he lift the car in the air and prod and poke stuff ?

    he had it up on the ramp trying to find out why the car was wobbling side to side...said he couldn't find anything wrong except the bearing...not sure what he did as wifey took the car in

    They are prone to wearing anti roll bar drop links which could cause that type of noise I also believe the rubber bushes mounting it to the sub frame wear as well both are worth a look.
