    Putting it out there.

Thinking of selling up most of my classic fleet to get some money together to contribute to buying a particular NSX.

Red body, black roof. Not fussed about interior. Manual, non PAS car. Not fussed on wheels.

Will consider a Cat registered car if its easy to fix up.

Missed out on one back in 2007 when I bought my Toyota Aristo (it had more power, more seats and a big boot) Oops. That's when they were much cheaper. Time has now come where it could be a contender for my garage spaces.

Any info from NSX owners will be greatly appreciated and if I could possibly have a go driving one. Sam you're closest to me. If you're back in the UK I'd like to meet up and have a chat about the NSX with you.

Wise move mate, I am too contemplating to do the same with my first gen I want it mechanically sorted and then have the battle with my heart and mind and decide.

I would go for a facelift S2000 or two new bikes.

good luck on that one guys
i really see the attraction and quite fancy one myself but 20 gs plus for one worth having and maintence cost will be huge
i certainly would never part with my old cars for something more modern but would happily own one as well if i had the spare cash
buying a car like this would be ideal for me as the only reason for owning it would be for track day use or on the autobahna in europe otherwise a pointless purchase
it would be a total waste of money as you would never get to experience this superb car legally on the road and i personally could not own something i could not use to its full potential

The car is something that would not get limited use. I would use it for work and would be maintained by my new Honda contact who is chief mechanic at my local branch. Can't keep five cars. Two is enough. NSX and my red 3 door Accord.

Motorcycling is better than a car. You can throb all over it to your hearts content.

    ah that they may be

but they generally go up in value they are one of the oldest manufacturers and with out break in manufacture and will still be around long after ANY modern design rice burners ever will
its strange that all japanese manufacturers HAVE TRY TO COPY THE HARLEY STYLE and fail epicly (fall in resale value speaks for its self)
the harley heavy all metal construction built to last
flat battery ? so what its a mans bike its got a kick start
japanese fragile plastic crap drop it an its a write off
flat battery oh a bump start oooooo mind you don't drop it

errrr what was this topic about :happycrying:
