A mate of mine is wanting to swap out his engine for a slightly newer one that doesn't rattle, knock and smoke, so I said I'll ask around on HK for him (I keep on telling him to join HK).

As title says, he's looking for a D15Z6 to put into his EK3 Civic.

Sorry, by slightly newer, I meant slightly less mileage.

    What's his current mileage?

His current engine has done about 175k miles, and he says it's started to burn oil. He would prefer to get a 'new' engine (that has preferably done less that 100k miles), as opposed to doing a recon on his existing engine.

I just checked and he said he's got a bead on an engine with 65k on it for a couple of hundred quid. Thanks for replying anyway mate. For interest, will you be dismantling your EK3 for parts, or selling as a whole ?

Not 100% yet as most parts will be swapped to the new car. Tbh theres nothing wrong with tge car at all but i may use it to repair the new car rather than just swapping my mods over
