    Hi Everyone,

I have heard some people mention you can replace just the main bushes on the lower suspension arm, rather than the whole arm. Saving a few quid!

Is this possible, advisable, difficult? Anyone done it? I would definitely prefer to do that if possible. Already had them off to change my driveshafts so know the procedure.

if you want a proper job, all 3 each side can be replaced but that listing refers to the 2 main control bushes that are most important.

Great, how do you remove / replace the bushes from the actual arm? I can get the arm out.

the main bush can be cut out using a hack saw and hit in by hammer. however the other bushes need to be pressed out either by a fixed hydraulic press or portable arrangement. if you are confident of removing the arms why don't you have a garage press the bushes in for you? they will be a small cost but for the time it takes will only take an hour of there time maximum

Sounds like a pretty good idea. I will see which ones can do it. Cheers!

I had my accord ones done around 2 years ago and I did just as beefy suggested. Removed the arms myself and took them in to get pressed out. They burnt the front compliance bushes out in the end.
