    Hi all
My 2005 CR-V will be left on my drive for the next three weeks or so! To keep the battery healthy I have a charger that , first charges, then keeps the battery in Maintenance mode. So my question. Will I , potentially, cause any problems If I charge the battery still connected (thus keeping the alarm) or should I disconnect the battery and keep it charged and maintained standalone..
    Thanks all

If your trickle charging (maintenance mode) then that shouldn't be a problem, leaving the battery connected..

I always leave the battery connected when I charge my weekend car (a MINI) but I am using a CTEK smart charger.

    It's never caused an issue.
