I doubt there are any active Manchester members on HK.

check out the @members map to see if theres anyone in the area. or the other alternative would be to slip over the Pennines to Yorkshire.

You say that as if something is happening here but the reality is the opposite ? it harsh but the honest assessment the days of Modern Honda owners meeting up are LONG gone.
Everyone is doing their own bit but can't collectively do anything.

Anyone would be up for MIMMS in end of November? I think it's going to be somewhere East England. Could be an opportunity to make a HK meet

Can I put forward the idea of a meet up at some point in the midlands area, nice and central?

It's too short notice for me I'm afraid, although I'd love to come along I can't change my meds so I can do the drive legally in this short a time period :Frown:

Sadly I think 'meet-ups' tend to have died a death. I tried to start a motoring enthusiasts monthly meet here in our village (Nr Market Weighton) for both classic car owners and modern car owners - the only ones interested were two lads with slammed hot hatches that looked ridiculous (the cars not the lads!) and who just wanted to show off and rev the **@!! out of their cars. Unfortunately I think the majority of modern car drivers just see their cars as something to get them from A to B and the 'art' of driving and actually enjoying a car has faded, unlike the old days when driving was deemed a skill.
It would indeed be nice to have a Honda meet-up here in the North - Yorkshire especially has a lot to offer. Maybe those interested could get together and arrange something that would include new and old cars. Obviously for next year now. Although I'm in several classic car clubs meeting up for a noggin and natter is good fun, and one learns a lot from other owners too. Something to think about - any volunteers?

there are some old die hards like myself that spend a lot of time and effort trying to organise events and again i will have two events already planned for 2016 albeit down south
i can organize interesting events round the country but until i see a more active entusiasm to attend meetings and less excuses in why "i can't attend" i can only stick with what works
as the two events i do run really do take to much of my time and money to organise i have to draw a line somewhere
