Hello all. I haven't made a thread of my car from start to finish really. So here it goes.. There is quite a lot to go through

Feb 2008 purchased the Accord in all its stock glory

    2. 4. 150220081824.

The modding commenced over the next few weeks, months, years.... I won't be giving any commentary unless somebody has a question to ask. Let the pictures do the talking

    Strut Brace fitted March 2008
    Image007. 190320081848.

Side Light LED Replacement (501 wedge from Ebay) March 2008 the standard bulbs were dull and boring
    IMG_0063.JPG IMG_0077.JPG

Next up was to replace the OEM air filter with something that had more air flow and more of a grunt. The AEM short ram intake
    IMG_0005.JPG IMG_0015.JPG

    May 2008
Ordered my Comptech short shifter from the USA. Was a ball ache to fit but worth every penny IMO after the Skunk2 billet gear knob was replaced.
    Image003. Image017. Image018.

    September 2008
It was time to upgrade the dull stock headlights with HID's (bought from Ebay). Much better visibility and didn't cost me a great deal back then
    HID Box. 02112008007.

    December 2008
The exhaust system was blowing and had cracks on a few areas which were un repairable, so I opted to go for a custom sport CAT/DECAT system instead. Note if you remove the CAT your CEL light will more than likely come on the dash as the car thinks something is wrong and goes in limp mode which makes the car drive sluggish and rich, not good! So i bought a CEL eliminator to fix the problem. No more CEL now! Problem fixed!

I then upgraded the strut brace with another one. This time made from light weight air craft materials. ALUTEC.
    IMG_0008.JPG IMG_0011.JPG

    IMG_0015.JPG
I decided to upgrade the OEM sky high suspension with Eibach Pro Kit which dropped the front by 1.5" and the rear by around 1".
    Eibach_Pro_Kit. IMG_0004.JPG IMG_0010.JPG

    March 2009
Buddy Club Racing Spec Condenser (battery current and voltage stabilisation control unit). A pain to install with the AEM intake in the way so I had to mount it on the chassis as I couldn't have it sitting flat on the battery top it was hitting the bonnet and not closing properly.
    Image000. 1b.
I tinted the rear screen and rear windows myself with the help of my brother.
    IMG_0002.JPG IMG_0003.JPG IMG_0004.JPG IMG_0024.JPG IMG_0032.JPG
    September 2009
The rocker cover was looking boring and dull to me so this was given a matt black colour change.
    IMG_0011.JPG IMG_0017.JPG IMG_0022.JPG IMG_0024.JPG IMG_0032.JPG
    November 2009
I sold the AEM short ram intake due to heat soak from within the engine bay and purchased the Injen CAI. Miles better IMO no lag!
    IMG_0002.JPG IMG_0008.JPG IMG_0027.JPG IMG_0028.JPG IMG_0041.JPG

    December 2009
My car came with no fog lights in the bumper. So i researched on the internet and came across these JDM looking yellow foggies also off Ebay. An added bonus when driving in fog when my HID's are on as well.
    IMG_0013.JPG IMG_0014.JPG IMG_0015.JPG IMG_0042.JPG

    February 2010
It was time to install my rear adjustable camber arms (bought from Ebay).
    J Power rear cambers. IMG_0062.JPG H. F.
    March 2010
It was time to change the Eibach's on the OEM suspension to some adjustable coil overs in the form of Buddy Club N + Racing Dampers.

Great read so far, patiently anticipating the rest of your cars history :Friends:

That's a strange one, try uploading them in smaller chunks or posting without previewing while I look into it.

EDIT: By the way Faz, you can add your car to the garage here and I'll go and integrate this thread into it, so when people find your car there, they'll find your history here

Added my car to the garage bud. On my iPhone the site works fine. I've also got my laptop on now and I always use Firefox as my browser, but when I try to stroll down to the bottom of my thread it crashes and throws me out? What do I do? I'm not good with this kind of thing. I will try using Internet Explorer see if that rectifies the problem. Wierd!?

Project thread and garage page integrated

That's really strange, there's something which your browser isn't getting on with, either resource (memory) related or a Javascript bug I would assume. Incidentally I and CJ use Firefox and did most of the site building with it. Could you give Internet Explorer/Chrome or any other browser a shot and report back?

Sold the black wheels with the red lips and went for genuine 17x8J (I think?!) split rims, Volk Racing AV3's (which were fully refurbed) with stretched tyres sitting on 205/40/17. Venturing with stretch tyres for the first time. I wanted my car to be low yet practical with camber as I had installed the camber kit earlier in the year. People have mixed opinions on this but you have to be sensible and always keep your air pressure topped up. Also if you act like a fool on round abouts and speed expect your tyre to fly off the bead and your car ending up in a mishap.
    IMG_0001.JPG IMG_0005.JPG Rays. IMG_0008.JPG 205.40.17. 215.40.17.

It was so low it kept bottoming out. So this was becoming a nuisance to me. I wanted to be low but wasn't quite there yet. I had other wheels, offsets and widths that I was interested in. The Volks wheels were then sold shortly after going on an S2000 I believe.

    October 2010
I have always bought genuine wheels and my next setup was the best yet! Let me introduce you to my genuine BBS LM's in gold with a polished lip which were originally sitting on a black Honda NSX. 18x9.5 & 18x8.5 et38 all round on stretched tyres 215/35/18 & 225/35/18.

I had to call my good old mate Paul from Arch Enemy to do his magic on my arches to fit these beauties as they were rubbing like hell on my arch liners on the rear which were housing 10mm H&R hub centric spacers. You can see the large amount of liner he has cut out. The exposed parts under neath the arch liner were covered in a water proof adhesive sealant to protect it from the elements once the trimming had been done.

I paid a visit to Elite in Rainham for some serious camber work, -6 degrees to be exact. These picture do not do it justice trust me. It was crazy looking in person / \

With the camber dialled in I was advised by friends at car meets and on text to add a lip kit to the front to set the look off. I was in two states of minds as the car was already fairly low. I gave in eventually and bought the A spec after market lip off of Ebay.
    IMG_1218.JPG IMG_1219.JPG

It was then time to drop the car off at my mate Jag's Bodyshop who has been in the modifying scene for a very long time. Let's just say I have been hearing his name and the amazing work he has done on many magazine feature cars since I was 18 years old. The lip required painting and sitting perfectly as well as the number plate position being deleted for a more aggressive look to the stance of my car.

I already had the J Power rear adjustable camber kit set up and was looking to do the same for the front. After extensive research I opted to go for the Skunk2 Pro Series camber kit compared to the Hard Race kit that was available. The reason for this was the Skunk2 had 5mm more clearance on the top of the kit compared to other brands on the market. I didn't want my camber kit hitting my strut whilst driving as I intended to lower the front even more.
    IMG_0003.JPG IMG_0007.JPG IMG_0025.JPG IMG_0029.JPG

    February 2012
I sold the BBS LM's reluctantly and decided to go for something more VIP and even wider with the look that I was now after. I am a wheel whore I just can't stick to one set of wheels. SSR Vienna's 3 piece split rims, 18x10 et41 & 18x9 et40. The faces of the alloys were pitted and damaged and would have cost a fair few quid to refurb so I decided to vinyl wrap them in gloss white and hammerite the edges in between by the recommendation of the chap I bought them off. They came out a treat.

    May 2012
My Buddy Club's had failed on me as one of the coil over units had become damaged beyond repair as the shock had gone. There was no replacement part on the market so I had to decide what to do. Go back to OEM suspension or buy another coil over kit. After Internet research and a chat with Blue Guru (Usman) I decided to buy the BC Racing coil over kit but customised to my own spec; the Extra Low spec.

I sold the SSR Vienna's and went for something totally different. XXR Hyper Silver 18x8.75 all round et35. These really set the car off IMO.

    Poke much?
    IMG_2792.JPG IMG_2794.JPG IMG_2833.JPG IMG_2834.JPG

I then sold the BC Racing coil overs with disappointment and fitted the A spec suspension in September 2013. At some point in life we have to put energy into other more important things in life as they say.. Below are various stages of the car in all it's glory...

The car is currently sitting on 17" Penta's riding on the A Spec suspension. I do have some 19" HPF wheels that will be going on later this year. Hopefully see some old and new faces at the Accord meets. Watch this space...
