Initial drop was 30-35mm, but now that it's settled, it's closer to 40mm I reckon. I used H&R springs for this, not a harsh ride at all (or at least as not as much as I was expecting).

Am considering lowering mine slightly, as I'm hoping to give it some track use, but I regularly carry five people/luggage/dogs and the roads around here are pretty bumpy at the best of times....Might see how it performs in standard trim first, then I'll know what effect any mods I make have.

Took the car in on Monday for a strip/clean of the brakes, as I suspected that they may be sticking slightly (Turns out they were okay)....Also had my man check the suspension out, as I suspected that the N/S/F upper balljoint, which was advised at the recent M.O.T, and that the vendor had said was replaced, wasn't....And I was correct....I do hate a liar!

Anyway....The car is going in again on Tuesday for that....Think I'd better have it serviced at the same time, as I'm not confident that they've done that....I think they may have just stamped the book!

They're lucky I already love the car so much, else they'd be getting it back!

Just got the car back from the garage, where it's had a new N/S upper wishbone/balljoint assembly....It feels so much smoother and nicer when you can't HEAR every bump! Very happy bunny!

Now....Just gotta save some pennies to get the alternator belt/bearing done, which may be harder than it sounds with a trip to Spain imminent!
