Right, seen as I've deceided to bin off my coupe I've started work on my saloon. I thought I would start a thread on it. don't expect weekly updates but when I get stuff done I will post. I havnt got any photos as of yet but I've fitted my JDM front bumper and coupe rear bumper today. I compared part numbers last night for saloon and coupe and the rear bumpers are the same. bit strange I thought. anyway that's if for now. I need to swap exhausts over too hopefully at weekend. Im selling my tein coilovers as im having some custom lowering springs made up in the near future.

ill get some photos up soon

Quick update. I've fully stripped all suspension off my cc1. A lot of the front suspension is currently at work as im removing bushes between jobs. everything will be getting shot blasted and painted so its all fresh for the cb3. Have been looking at a full polyurethane setup bush wise as it seems the most logical. Im still in limbo of weather to convert to 5 stud so I havn't removed the knuckles, caliper and discs etc.

ill get some photos up during the week if I can!

A lovely car indeed. Of all the previous generations of the Accord, this is my favourite.

From memory there was also a very nice estate version, and didn't they also do them with 4 wheel steering?

Out of interest, was the quality of US made Honda vehicles comparable with Japanese made (and is it now?).

Yes back in those days 85% of the car parts were manufactured in Japan , shipped over to the US to be assembled. in the early 90's the Honda mantra of Globalisation through localisation started where local vendors were selected to save the yen.

That why Swindon produces Honda car made under licence  and Japan makes the quality vehicles. Simples

I will always buy Japanese made Honda's as they are 100% real deal.

The US Accord Aerodecks are absoluty brilliant cars. Had the 3 gen Aerodeck for 11 years and never had serious problems with it.
    aerodeck.

My son bought it from me and lowered it a bit, looks even more awesome.
    aerodeck_zps8dc98c97.

The CB3 I bought recently is japanese and the last Accord really wanted by the exportguys because it was Japanese. Thats the reason they are hard to find in Holland especially in this condition.

The Aerodeck of the Accord CB version is also a very good car.

Put on the wheels of my former Accord Aerodeck and a wind-deflektor.
Next thing is to lower the CB by 4 cm.
