I'm looking for someone to wrap 2 trim pieces for me, for my 2004 Civic. It's the 2 trim pieces in the center console that surround the gear lever and the stereo, example of which are shown below. Happy to pay you for your effort and meterials.

If you can help, please let me know how much you'd want for doing the 2 items.

    s-l1600 (1). s-l1600.

Mate, give it a shot yourself. I was pretty cautious when getting into it on the '03 but they held up really well and was much easier than I thought.

Just get yourself some decent 3M wrap, a hair dryer and a plastic spreader (like a windscreen de-icer). The wrap becomes really malleable under heat and super easy to work with.

I tried it once and made a right mess of it !! And I'm not known for my patience....

I suppose it can't hurt to try it - I can just peel it off when I mess it up.

Still, if someone wants to make a few quid, let me know

I could get the painted up for you if that's an option.

Painting is an option. How much ? Only concern I have is that scratches/damage will still show with paint, whereas they get covered with wrap.

I considered this as well (@nick-b has the equipment for this) but as with painting, I expect the scratches/damage would still show.

I suppose some sanding could help with the scratches and most of the damage,,,

The pictures above are exactly what will be painted. They're just a dark gray, as opposed to silver. I would sand and clean the items myself, so all I need doing is the paint work.

I may be getting them wrapped this weekend, but as I'll then have a spare set, I may still be interested in painting that set. that way I can compare and see which looks better

Hydro dipped is pretty good and durable Selina has a lot on her Megane dipped.

Problem with dipping is thatit doesn't cover scratches / damage too well, same as painting, so would require filling / sanding over any damagefirst. I may try dipping at some point though
