Hi all. I've just bought a 2005 CDTI estate with lots of history, faultless clutch and quiet engine. Needed to replace my P&J Legacy tourer which was written off just before christmas. Just changing jobs and will have a 50 mile trip each day so seemed a good time to go diesel.

Not owned a Honda car before but have had many bikes, currently have an unbreakable 15 year old VFR800 in the garage with...wait for it...gear driven cams.

I was a regular contributor on the Legacy forum and know what a brilliant resource owner forums can be. Just about to order some 0w30 from Lubetech :Niceone:

    Cheers, Neil.

It's been serviced regularly by DS in Bradford a 'Honda specialist'...anyone know them?

    Hey bud
Welcome, wife has a legacy estate nice car but accord tourer is better. In my view at least
VFR 800 nice I'm looking at some at mo some proper minging ones about but even those engines were good. If I can't find one may have to fall back on a trusty old CBR
    Welcome

Change your oil and filter often! You can get oil here cheap 25 litre 0-30 fully synthetic I used it in my diesel and good stuff no point in paying through the nose for it. Holdcroft offer great deals for club members to

Welcome to AOC, good to see you've done your research. As said a good service routine with 0w30 oil should keep a quiet engine running well. Get a 25 litre drum from lubetech makes the oil changes very cheap.
