Thanks, I'm just looking forward to seeing the car! I've bought it from a dealers description over the phone which isn't something i'd usually do, but so many decent cars have passed me by because I couldn't get to see them quick enough. All isn't lost if it isn't the right car for me, just £50 deposit and travel costs.

hello and welcome, I did the same with mine when I bought it. Asked the dealer to be honest and paid deposit, I wasn't unhappy when I got there, hope it's the same for you. Look forward to seeing some pics.

Welcome the forum Adam  I don't find Ford's too unreliable, but they're certainly not up to Honda standards!

I've been driving 2nd Generation Ford Galaxy and Seat Alhambras of late so strictly speaking they aren't really Fords at all. Picked up the FR-V today after a bit of hassle with a dodgy rear caliper. The difference in refinement is immense, the other bonus was everything I touched worked - not something I could say of any Galaxy/Alhambra i've ever owned!

    Welcome along @Ads81

There seems to be a rush of FR-V owners joining just recently, probably like you going Honda due to reliability concerns with other marques.
