We all know the diesel fuel nozzle are small when you do get stranded you are looking for suitable nozzle to fit the filler mouth to refill you are presented with this challenge.

Well the New Honda Civic has a emergency filler behind the tool-kit which I thought was a nice little touch.

This will be a handy Nozzle for Accord owners to have just in case you have left it so late to refill rather than running it bone dry park up get diesel and refill using this nozzle.

    job done.

Very clever and something that you'd never think of until you run out of fuel. Just goes to show that Honda aren't about cutting costs and about producing fantastically designed cars.

This new Civic has really moved the goal post and highlights Honda new technologies and strengths. some people love the car and the older shape Civic owners loath it.Accord being the flagship model, you just can't compare the Accord brilliance to the Civic.

Civic currently has all the latest gizmo's and gadgets which the Accord does not have.

it is an excellent tool provided you remember it there when you run out of fuel.

Additionally Honda made sure the 9th Generation diesel Civic filler mouth would not accept a petrol nozzles. Saving motorist from cross fuelling and saving the owners engine damage.

I would assume this has been applied to the 2013 Honda Accord Diesel cars too... can anyone with the facelift car confirm please?

This is an excellent safety feature, by restricting the filler mouth to refuse a petrol nozzle. I'm very happy once again that Honda is looking out for the consumer's safety, one more little reason to love a very good company and a great car.
