Introductions newbie accord se exec faults

    Hello people I am new to this just brought a 02 Honda accord se exec my first Honda but sadly got a few faults so hoping for advise please from you kind people the faults are
    1 climate control blows but no air from vents can hear the fan etc
    2 intermittent ABS light comes on when driving
    Any help would be totally great the car got good service history been looked after ...

    Hi Barrie, welcome to AOC.

    Have the air con topped up, whilst its being topped up, the garage doing will be able to do a pressure/leak test. If it doesn't have any leaks then a top up maybe all it needs to get it going again.

    For the intermittent ABS light, my minds gone blank on what to suggest, have a browse or search of the 6th Generation section, mate.

    The air con I think works just hot or cold no air comes out of the vents but you can here the fan strange really any other ideas would help thanks

    Ah sorry, didn't read that properly.
    Take your glove box off and look for disconnected/damaged vent pipes.

    ok thanks speedygee will do that in the manual its say about pollen filter being blocked so going to change that to so will have a good look then thanks for advice..

    also speedy do you know is the cam belt driven or chain???

    cracking thanks also oil now in the book i am confused.com in my other car which is no a honda i use semi 10 40w would that be ok in this car??

    Actually you got a low post count so may not be able to see that Article.

    Basically its only K, N and R series engines that have chains.

    Have a browse or search of the 5th and 6th Generation accord sections all the info is there bud.

    if a look at chassis under bonnet i should fine what engine type? think i got belt then?

    6th gens had F series engines so will be belted.
