Hi, purchased a 2008 tourer in red last November and have only just had chance to really look at it. So last weekend, I did a service changing the pollen, air, fuel and oil filters along with some decent 0w-30 oil. The fuel and oil filters were genuine Honda but pollen and air are OE.
All went well and even managed to change the fuel filter (what's that all about??), The car started first time and I watched the oil light go out however, I have an engine light showing and the glow plug light is flashing.
Cannot see what I have done wrong? - anyone else had similar??

    Flashing Glow Plug Light

"If this indicator blinks while the engine is running, there is a problem in the engine control system. This indicator may also blink when you restart the engine after your vehicle has run out of fuel. "

Since you said you changed the fuel filter...

Did you prime the fuel system correctly?

Only just mate, only just

Good to see we both think it's the same thing, priming and bleeding system correctly.

Remembered how the filter needed bleeding or the trapped air triggers the sensors somewhere.
I'll beat you one day :telloff:

Yes, followed this thread slightly but followed the 'facelift' version and thought I had expelled all the air - obviously not though??
If I still have air trapped somewhere, what's my next move to remove and clear the error??
    Cheers

    Check your handbook too.
    'Storing Your Car' section.
There's some info about priming, and the procedure for re-starting.
Let us know how you get on.
