It's an AC Ace. Personally never heard of them. 1995 model I think

I either saw the launch of this or it was at the NEC motor show in 1994, can't remember which though probably the latter. To be honest all I can recall is that the car they had on the stand was a bit of a mess build wise and a far cry from the original stunning Ace and it's even more stunning sister the Aceca. I seem to recall the Brooklands Ace had an imported chassis but I could be thinking of something else.

They were based largely off the Ford. Quite a nice looking thing to me

I thought it was a modified Mazda MX5. Not a fan of the looks, but I do like old rare oddball cars, makes the road interesting from the sea of bland euroboxes.

First thing I thought of when I saw it was a resemblence to the original Noble

I just love the small UK 'parts bin' manufacturers. This is great.

Another similar (but more up to date) type, the Healy Enigma.

    For sale Healy Designs Enigma

New MINI headlights (and some switchgear I believe) and are those Nissan Micra rear clusters?!

They are cool aren't they in an odd way, I like looking at the coachwork of the cars, takes a lot of skill as most are hand worked.
