Nice job on possibly my favourite Civic model:
Old Hondas never die - Detailing World
That is just brilliant
Before and after shots like that never fail to impress me. It's amazing what can be done to restore paintwork...the rear wing pictures half and half, especially - wow, just wow!
Thanks for posting
Stunning work !
I've not read the whole post, is that a hand polish he did ?
^^ I don't think it actually says, but given the masking done assume it must have been a rotary polisher of some sort. If not, I would't like to see how big his arms are
Yes, I was going to say ! LOL
No chance you can get that results with hand polishing.
He used machine polisher.
Kotsos work is amazing, seen quite a bit of his work.
Wax used is the one I bought, good stuff.
Oh buddy that reminds me, I need to buy some of that, can you WhatsApp me please.
Will do in a minute.
All that with a bit of polish? Looks like brand new paintwork, does the polish take out the laquer?
That IS impressive
At that level of correction you will take quite a bit of the laquer so you can't do it too often. He notes at the beginning that he measured the paint depth, this is to be aware of the amount of correction he can do without damaging the paint. If the paint was any worse then I suspect he would of wet sanded before polishing.
Even with an orbital or rotary machine it's still hard work and the work the person in the thread does is very very good.
Very nice job you can do my FR-V next most kostas lol
Excellent work, fantastic transformation
What a transformation. . Very impressive work!
