    Hi all

Just checking other peeps with 2nd Generation CR-Vs, does your OBD socket hand loose?

Mine is to the right of the transmission tunnel near the drivers left knee and hangs down from the dash by about an inch supported only by the wires which doesn't seem right?

    Can anyone confirm?

    Thanks

Mine is in the same place but it is not loose I just looked on the Lings parts diagram but I cannot see what holds it.

Just had look at mine, there is a steel bracket that the OBD plug clips into, this bracket is attached to the steel tubing behind the console/dash.

Cable ties hold then once the plastic tabs have been broken , Japanese ABS plastics tend to be more durable than ABS made in Europe as found on CR-V this happens. :Frown:

It appears to push into the bracket from the top.

The cable comes through the bracket and the socket hangs below which may mean its broken if its come all the way through. I'll get a pic posted over the holidays thanks
