I've got a circuit diagram in my head, I want to come up with a PCB design but only thing is I don't have the equipment to actually make/etch the PCB.

So what's the quickest way of attaining this ? Are there any online services that I can utilise where I can send my design and get back an PCB ?

I found some equivalent services in the UK but they want like £70 for a 40mmx40mm PCB :overtired:

That's still a bit steep for what I need it for so I'm looking at alternatives.

Readymade circuit or contact local HackerSpace see if they can etch it for me.

Man, if only time travel existed. My life would have taken a different direction for sure, I wouldn't have gotten married for the sake of the kids for one.....

£40 is too steep? Apologies if you've ruled it out for a good reason (complex SMT components or non 0.1" pitch, etc?) but for a one-off DIY 40 x 40mm board requirement, then Veroboard would always be my first choice.

If you really must have a PCB, are you able to produce the necessary Gerber file if you do find somewhere really cheap?

It's a AC motor speed control board, so veroboard won't cut it.

I think I'll just find a ready built control board.
