    Hi guys,

I've seen some previous posts about having calipers painted and I really want mine doing. Not sure about colour yet but wanted to know of any places where I can have this done? Is it just a normal bodyshop?

Could do it myself but I'm too lazy so would rather get someone else to do!

Also it's a grey car. What colour calipers? Red? Its a Legend so I don't want it looking like a sports car but just want a classy look.

    Thanks in advance!

    I thought it was!

Apologies. Not been on here for a while due to several unfortunate house moves.

I used to have a picture on the previous Honda forum but assuming pics not transferred across.

I'll get some on as a matter of urgent priority!

You did have a garage entry, I've just edited it and saved it (without making any changes) and it's showing up now in your sig.

Paint them yourself and get a bit of pride in doing it.
Hammerite is always a good bet

if you do decide to do them yourself try to put as uch effort as possible into the preparation side of it.. will make a massive difference to the end result.

As Brett says do them yourself but wait till spring to do them.. not the best time to be painting anything.

I've found that Hammerrite paint tends to dull from the heat of the calipers. You can get special caliper paint online that is heat resistant. I would also advise applying so clear topcoat.

    Thanks for the replies.

Silver sounds good, and thats what I had in mind.

However doing them myself is a big no no. I have severe concentration and patience issues that stop me from doing anything that involves painstaking work. Also I have a severe allegy to hard work....:notforme:

I need someone to do it for me. If there is anyone here kind enough to take pity on me then youre more than welcome :gotcha:

I would go with silver too, red or any bright colour will look gash on it and ruin the statesmen styling of it unless you do other tsyling mods.

Well at this moment in time thinking of a Tein comfort sports suspension, but not sure if right type of car to do it on so on the back burner.

    Silver it is I guess.
