Well sally has rusty arches and these are being sorted first.

Have given her a full clean and engine degrease. New plugs and replace plastic drivers wheel arch drivers side skirt now.

Currently shaping new plate for hole in arch and replacement arch for trim to screw to properly. So I'll start a project blog and update with pics as each job is done.

Slight weird noice from rear end when on full lock doing a uturn.

Need to find a local member so i can try theres or have them try this one a comparison as I've spent the last 5 years in a fronty v6 with at 265bhp in the last truck and 220bhp at present and rising. Beside 6 month in a v reg honda accord 1.8 between the trucks. And volvo T4 with 350bhp before that for years. So not quite sure what this should handle or pull like. What's tire noise and what's the bearing out drive train as my trucks run stiffened hd lift springs with rough country 200psi competition nitrogen shocks that give it a nice stiff firm ride with minimal body roll for something that big.

This thing rolls and wallows around a lot more than mine. But then mines done for high speed cruising and handling. Like overfinch do for rangerovers.

Good job you've changed those! Just goes to show that some people simply don't bother, and them seem surprised when things go wrong.

That's been needing a service for a good while then !

What was the oil like ?

I'd be tempted to do another oil change in say 500 miles as way of flushing out the engine.

Wait till you see the next pic.

Dropped oil out changed filter to find they had given me wrong one so that once oil pressure built up this happened.

Lovely fresh oil all over my drive lol

That's want a flush i killed the engine after 5 secs of staying as enough to pump oil round. So the pressure blew the oil past the seal as it was then free fall all over place. Got to love 5 litre water bottles lol

Lol it runs to smooth to risk flushing it ABS messing it about lol

    I was being sarcastic.

I don't like those oil flushers either, a couple of oil changes in quick succession is my preferred method.

There are a time and place for a flush lol

Of it smoking at little because valve seats are dirty or a bit tappet because the oil feeds are blocked and making the top of the engine get enough oil meaning over time they wear more and rattling. Then i would recommend a flush to clear and valve saver to soften and restore the best it can any rubber bits or gaskets that the stuff touched.

Im old school i save the sand for last lol

It's been a long while since i had some of these but the fronty in these pics the blue one was my last project daily driver shoving 265bhp as the super charger was to Mental so took it down to that from 436bhp just to much torque spin off the line in 4WD in high range in rear wheel drive was hilarious fit drifting as the autobox ran racing ATF and secondary oil cooler.

Altered one if the values to increase the pressure on torque convertor to increase power to wheels. By restricting the amount of fluid that can exit the torque convertor it always has more fluid in it so thinks the car is aquactaully revving about 500 to 800 RPM more so the minute you drop it into drive at tick over it starts to drive so when off road always getting some traction.

Been a while since had to Jack a car to change the oil filter lol.

Or had so much space in the engine bay lol

Any one got a fuse box cover lid for dashboard just realised it's missing.

What do you guys get to a full tank. And realistic MPG for round town and on a run?
