    Hello and welcome.

The UK part number you have supplied isn't a Honda one.

    Hi Pottermus
The uk part no is from lingshondaparts.com

    Hi SpeedyGee
Apologies the Acura part no is 76203 SJA 305. From acurapartswarehouse.com

Not 76203 SJA 705 as I originally posted typo error 7 in place of 3

You will probably find the US glass is different to the UK anyway. The curvature on the glass will be angled differently to compensate the drivers position between LHD and RHD.

    Hi Pottermus
Thanks for the advice re US. Acura and curvature
What is the Honda part no
    Any suggestions re. Suppliers ?

Out of interest, what will you do with the correct part number once you have it? I don't see why it's so necessary to have it.

My opinion is that if you are buying goods or a service you should look for a seller that is confident that their product is fit for purpose and your needs without you having to check their professional integrity.

People obtaining part numbers off their own back can be dangerous. The example above is perfect. You have gone on the Internet, found what you believe to be the correct part number for the mirror glass, only for it to be wrong. Now if you had ordered that part with Honda or another supplier who is going to foot the bill once you discover it isn't suitable for your car?

My advice to people is to leave the part numbers alone for the people who know what to do with them.

Welcome Vince, @Pottermus frustration comes from working in a Honda parts department  The PFK codes are internal Lings part numbers, not Honda part numbers. Do make sure to grab UK spec ones because of the curvature as mentioned

    Thanks for the welcome Nels

    Thanks for the response DeviateDefiant

I'am still looking into this PFK LING hence the PFKL number

I was trying to find out two things
    1. Are the Acura parts the same as uk spec if so why the price differential
    2. If the Acura parts are not . Where/who are the 'best' suppliers for uk spec

Also why has the mirror glass gone milky in centre and rust brown around perimeter?
Is this a common failure with mirror glass?

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to reply . Hope you are all well

    Regards

    Vincemince

    Thanks Ichiban

Mirror glass 2007 legend Uk spec honda part no 76213 SJA G01. Phoned a few honda dealers they are all surprised / shocked at the high cost of £137.58 + vat = £165.10 inc vat
    Lings delivered cost £172.05

Question why the high differential cost compared to Acura equivalent ? 50 to 75 US dollars = £35 to £50
    - - - Updated - - -
Apologies to SpeedyGee your car part no is correct

Question. Is the Acura version the same ? Even if it is not the price differential is enormous.

Just downloaded 2007Acura RL Owners Manual
The wing mirrors are not auto dim hence the price differential.
    Auto dim is expensive
Just read on skoda forum Skoda Octavia 2005 Auto dim mirror glass costs £290
Audi owner wrote his cost £200
Looks like this auto dim function is the reason they are so expensive

Have to find out why my drivers side has failed and passenger side not
both undergone same use and environment yet only one failed
I could replace the mirror glass and it could fail because of as yet unknown cause
