These just arived from usa.can't wait to fit them
these are epic.turn in is much improved, these get rid of all unwanted play from the front.and stop wheel hop.i can't recommand these bearing enough
No pics of them being installed ?
Do you have links to where you got them from ?
no install pic's as i got my local garage to fit them as they need to be pressed in
Nice one, something to consider some point in the future.
Something to add to the list
you should make them next on your list.they are that good
Front and rear adjustable camber arms aswel as uprated rear ARB are next but maybe these will be next after that lol
Coilovers and carbon bonnet are also on the list still to do
After a few handling and visual mods will be back on with the power and might save for a charger
What you think @ukcl9? Anything you advise with the above?
car doesnt need front camber arms.unless you want more than -1.5 degrees camber.as it will be -1.5 when its lowered.
as for coilover.I've had tein superstreets and buddyclub n+ and think they are junk vs koni adjustable shocks eibach springs and TL Type-S top mount bushes.
rarb.is a must.as for the rest its up to you.its £3000 for sc plus fitting mapping and ECU for 50bhp worth it...i don't think so...but this is just my own opinion.
i would spend the cash on EP3 gearbox LSD and 06 tsx TB and camshafts.should see you 240ish BHP and crazy amount of accelration with 4.76 or even 5.1 FD

rear camber arms are needed tho

The reason for wanting the front camber arms is that I put 235/45's on the front instead of 235/40's to give myself more clearance for my bumper not to scrape but now the tyres rub on my arches but only slightly so thought slight camber might help?
I already have eibach springs but is still on standard shocks at mo so could potentially just get the adjustable shocks and top mounts you mentioned?
As for the SC my mate put one on his EP3 and is now running 360bhp
he won't just be running sc to get 360 BHP.you won't get that from the k24
Sorry to bump this thread, just wondered how the spherical bearings are for noise and ride quality etc?
Some of the folks with DC5/EP3 mac strut setups say they are pretty noisy and reduce ride comfort, not sure that would be the case so much with double wishbone design but just wondered.
As for superchargers, have a look at Mercracing. They have a K series composite manifold that allows you to fit a Lysholm/Whipple twin screw charger on there with loads of different cooling options. Way better than a roots unit.
Jose Mercado's DC5 is putting down over 400 HP, and another guy over there is getting similar on pump fuel and 520 HP/328 tq on E85 from a K20Z!
With a linear power band instead of peaky turbo response that must be pretty mad.
No mine are not noisy
Yes on rubbish roads the ride quality is poor, but if the road is nice and smooth, they feel great.i think its probably a great mod if your tracking the car, maybe overkill as a daily driver.
I do like them tho, made the front stiffer and much more direct steering with a lot of feed back from the road
Great hearing your opinion from first hand experience, thanks bud!
Will probably stick with polybushings for the Civic i reckon.
