I don't think the 8th Generation has a PGM- FI warning light, isnt that from 90s Honda's, programmed fuel injection I think it means.

still comes up with a pgmfi light for certain faults. mainly emmissions on a diesel. still needs the codes reading to get to the route of the problem

    hi again
I have found out that the fuse for the fuel heater was blown, change it and deleted the error code. working fine for a few day, but now is the fuse blown again (and the error code is back).
Anybody have any idea that the problem could be?

Are you using the correct rated fuse.. like for like ? If you are then there is a wire fault which is causing the repeated fault.

if your replacing like for like and the fuse is still blowing there is a wiring fault. i havnt seen this come up before. it needs looking at idealy by a honda garage, they will have access to uptodate wiring diagrams and a troubleshooting guide for the DTC.

hi again, disconnected the plug that goes into the fuel filter (is this to the fuel heater?). Tried a new fuse, did not blow. But as soon i put the plug back on the fuse blown again. Used a multimeter and both the wire goes to ground, that goes into the fuel heater??

Do you mean change of fuel filter? Its not long ago, could it be something inside the fuel filter box?
It is the fuel heater thats on the side of the fuel filter box?
    image.
Guess this is the fuel filter?

No I meant any aftermarket electrical equipment which needed you to splice a few cable to get a power feed ,for example mobile phone caddy, car inventor etc etc

No, but its the cable that goes into the fuel filter/heater that both the wire goes to ground. Not the one that goes up to the fuse box.

Ok have you attached anything electrical on the car which is not factory fitted before this problem started?
