I thought I'd stick a couple of photos up of my new car that I got yesterday, not the tidiest example out there but still a looker I think.

    20131123_141406.

    20131123_141418.

    20131123_141539.

I did wonder when I was checking the car over, is the a standard exhaust?

She doesn't look in bad condition at all mate, do I spot a Collie in the back? I've got 3 and carting them around in a saloon can be an interesting experience

Thanks mate, yeah she's a collie, managed to sneak herself in the little poser, she's the only reason we have estates.

Hey that looks like a Mugen exhaust or even a genuine one, havent you done well!

Does the exhaust note have a slight raspiness to it?

we have two dogs and the tourer is perfect.. but if we are going for our hols we have to take two cars as dogs need their space.lol

Nice to see the AOC tax disc holder!

Yes she does sound nice, not too loud.

I had to get a shot of the tax holder, it's been sat in my house long enough

Had a little play today, I wasn't keen on the yellow sidelights next to the white xenon headlights.

    Before
    20131201_092148.
    After
    20131201_125204.
Luckily I ordered a pack of four, I noticed I had a number plate light out.
    One of each.
    20131201_075408.
    Both fitted
    20131201_092127.

The rear washer packed up too and started dripping on the dog  Found the culprit, broken pipe by the door hinge.

Should of had more to fit but the delivery firm with my HH order tried to deliver to the wrong house :Frown:

It's funny how much of a difference white LEDs instead of yellow halogens makes to the look of a car. Good stuff mate.

I did my entire interior on mine too because the yellow was bugging me so much

Goodies  Just have to find time to fit them now.

Sorry can't seem to get picture right way up

One problem though, I ordered the ATF filter and this has arrived (number 7)
    ATM0840.
Is it a major strip down to change this, should I return it and ask for this (number 4)

    ATM0700.

The ATF filter is item 4 mate to change unbolt 19 and remove the bracket. item 4 is the filter inside the ATF casing. Have a word with HH that may need to go back.

Thanks CJ that's what I was expecting to arrive, I have the part number for item 4 so I'll give HH a ring tomorrow and see what they say, the filter that arrived is about twice the price of the external filter too.

Had a busy weekend, as well as servicing and breaking the car I did a few other jobs:

Newly working heated seat switch illumination
    20140112_135510.

Didn't fancy spending out on tinting the windows so went for some vanstyle sun shades instead, the give a tinted look and keep the sun out of the kids eyes, the picture doesn't really do the tinted look justice.
    20140112_133225.

    20140112_133547.

Also fitted my dash cam, although I still need to semi hard-wire it in, the parts arrived today so will finish it at the weekend, until then it's plugged into the cigarette lighter.

Fitted some facelift type wiper blades.

Got my interior LED bulb kit today, so another weekend job there, if I un-break the car that is.
