Just curious really who is into photography on here, be it automotive, scenery, arty stuff or sports (inc motorsport)

Here are a couple of images I took last night of my new motor.

Edited the post for you to embed the photos, IFRAMEs and other HTML won't work being pasted in. Best to use the img tag or upload directly onto the site  There's a guide here.

Fantastic shots, I've dabbled in SLR photography for several year but don't really take it that seriously. About as far as I go these days is arty looks to my project photos or random shots of the dogs!

    rlb_personal-110818_dogs-001.

Used to do a bit of band photography, some here. Loads of random photos on my Instagram too.

I'm better at manipulation than the photography itself, below a colourised photo I did of my grandfather around my age, and below that a shot of my old driving instructor whom wanted to appear younger!

some really great work there mate, impressed.

I've posted alot of my better images to Flickr, but I have loads more on my computer. I'm abit of a purist when it comes to my photography as I don't like to Photoshop my images and prefer to post shots as the camera saw them. I guess i am wierd that way.

Thank you. I actually know a few other people whom are the same, won't manipulate an image once it's taken. Whereas I'm lazy and lax with my metering and colour balance as I know I can just fix it in post-production

Used to be, got sick of low balling "professionals" who got a D90 kit for christmas taking business only for the customer who whinged about prices to come back at a later date to have it done right.

    Anyway, that aside....

I moved onto video, sold my Nikon D3x and spent the money on lenses instead of another high end body. Still do the odd bit for people, but find it much better value to hire a friend who is simply epic - I present Reinis Babrovskis - http://www.reinisb.com

I do still work part time as an assistant for a local commercial photographer to keep myself semi sharp, but I don't actively shoot anymore

Edited the post. Realised I hadn;t given credit and they could be mistaken as my own. I concentrate more on helping Reinis and other local photographer with various aspects of business now than shooting myself.

I also manufacture specialist photographic equipment, namely vehicle rigs for stills and video - some rigging gear for the local film industry too

    I'm just learning.
Appreciate looking at the shots that require a good eye and tons of skill.
Love Pete's Citroen, but like the green Audi more. But hey, what do I know :Unknown:

@Harvey - if you are interested in light paint, you should look up a friend of mine - Michael Bosanko - he is incredible and did all the work for the Fiesta adverts and various other massive brands.

I do a bit of everything, just for fun, mainly macro and landscapes but not had the camera out in a while in saying that...

Can't believe how much sharpness/resolution you're squeezing out of ASP-C sensor bodies, I'll dig through your Flickr

I do shoot raw and sharpen as required but its a fine line to oversharpen, same goes with curves and levels I guess, less is often more.

All about the glass, not the sensor

Oh yeah I realise that, it's still an impressive about of detail pulled considering the sensors limitations. I have a 550D which is extremely similar, it's the low-light ISO performance I'm always craving more of.

Then again my daily is a Tamron 28-75mm and will be till I can justify some L glass
