    Hello again,
Guys I need a lil' bit of help. I'm trying realy hard to find cheap extensions for my Accord. I had a chat with one of the sellers from e-bay who have PFL lip kit in his offer. There is a chance to make FL version, if I will send him photos of those lips. Of course it is not original plastic lipkit, but I know owners of PFL kit and they very happy about results. So can you help me collect as much photos as we can ? From different angles etc. A spec, J spec. type-s and all that can be made if we want and it is not realy expensive. Also there is not many copys of those kits in Europe, so that can be helpful.

So if u have any photos - plz add picture with title.

Thanks a lot for any response
    Marcin

I can collect images of every lip/bumper available, but I've got to say we don't need more knockoffs in the scene. There's already loads on eBay with poor fitment and prone to cracking. I'm for supporting companies actually designing the products, not helping others make money by cloning their designs with an inferior fit and finish.

If a product is discontinued then I agree, like the Mugen Aero Facelift full bumper (already sold by VIS). But all lips are still available, why not just buy the real thing?

Just my view on it, there's no need to help pirate the products you can already get.

Ok. It is your point of view and I'm able to understand that.
I can't spend that mount of money and I tried to find copies but there is no copies on ebay for facelifted accord. there is many of 'em in USA for tsx but with all taxes it is still a lil bit expensive.

I understand they cost a lot to import in the UK, that's always been the case - but I'd just say wait to find something from a breakers if you can't afford it or just wait until you can. All of us modifying our Accords buy our parts in from the states or Japan, it's a "luxury" car and modifications have never come cheap. Ripping off the few manufacturers supporting us only hurts us. I'd rather see new custom designs and new innovation.

It's just my two pence, others will no doubt support you and want the cheap copies

My take on the cheap knock off body kit are they are a waste of time. Even if you get hold of them the amount of prep work you have to do to get them flat and make the paint to lay on perfectly is a nightmare.

The paint lift due to some crazy plastic concoction which reacts with the water based paint..it not worth putting tat on your car which does not look perfect.

Worth noting both I and @Ichiban can be quite "purist" at times, members feel free to chime in on OP's query

I say way waste money, time and effort for something which will never be right. The first thing you look at any car is paint if its not flawless then no matter how mechanically sound the car it will never be appreciated.

Agreed with the sentiments expressed so far. There are some things you can afford to go dodgy after market for but body kits should not be one of them. They won't fit correctly, big gaps etc and will likely do just the opposite of what the owner of that car is trying to do with them and will make the car look cheap.

I also think, stay with the proper parts, yes they might be expensive, but they fit perfectly, will be of a good quality and won't make the car look worse which dodgy aftermarket parts risk doing so.

I will add that some replicas are very well done, the issue is that it all varies so wildly.

I can understand where you coming from.
I want Mugen wing for my Accord but way too expensive and I have been tempted to buy a copy but like all the lads said it just wouldn't look right so I gave up until I find original one for reasonable money.

Sorry don't know any breakers but why not try HH, they might be able to get you a good deal if any old stock is lurking around.

There are some specialist Japanese only car breakers scattered around the country. A google search should hopefully pick them up. See if they have any way of helping you.

The best way to find cheap rare parts is to look for Accords listed for breaking on eBay and check out the pictures, most have no idea what they have and you can pick up some right bargains. I've seen someone pick up the Modulo front bumper (sells for up to $1500 in the states) for £50.
