Autoglym is the only product that touches my car. Superb right across the range.

If it's good enough for Liz's Bentley, it's good enough for the likes of us.

Autoglym high DEF wax is brilliant to use. Get some if you can.

Aston and Bentley - amongst others - 'endorse' and 'recommend' Autoglym products, which is a clever choice of words for marketing purposes. They claim to use their products 'at various stages during the manufacturing process.' Those words are taken directly from the AutoGlym website. As for AutoGlym 'life shine...':Rolf:

When I went to the MotorShow a few years ago as a guest of MINI I asked what they used to prep the cars for the stand as I'm a keen detailer. The answer was 'whatever the professional companies who we pay use, mainly Swissvax or Zymol.' I find it hard to believe that any other manufacturer is any different.

Having used a lot of products over the years I find some AutoGlym products are ok, but most are outperformed by others these days. Back in the 1990s they were fine. They do represent quite good value at the basic end of the market supplied on the high street by Halfords and others, and SRP is a good product if a little wearing to use. I still have plenty of their products in my kit and use glass cleaner and insect remover regularly.

Yes i also vow for Autoglym,it has a very good price/quality and really makes any car shine.
Since i bought my CL9 a few months ago,its outside was seriously neglected, you can see the body improve after every wash..And i'm only using the shampoo.
Car was full with these black spots.

Few months later (these pictures are from now,car has been washed manually few weeks ago, just used the pressure washer after my 1000km trip)

Some Autoglym products are ok and some are terrible, far better out there now from other manufacturers/brands

The tar remover is rubbish, autosmart tardis instead. All the wheel cleaners are not very good, Bilt hamber auto wheel instead. Extra gloss protection rubbish, Autofinesse tough coat instead

I try to add in another good quality product as time and money permit. I have been updating and upgrading my stock of detailing products for a while now. I cannot afford to buy and try lots, so I am guided by the advice I have received on here. I have been very happy with the products and techniques recommended by @wanner69 @FirstHonda @Nighthawk @TheDarkKnight to name but a few. (Apologies if I've missed anyone out :Blushing:)

It's a gradual process, but the results are smashing and my bank balance has not gone into the red.
