Can any one advise me of how you remove the black plastic strips on the roof without damaging them? They slide but one end is stopped by the rear glass pane and then the front goes into the engine bay so not sure what are supposed to do? Please help as want to replace one but don't want to snap the clips that hold it in place.

1" BLACKOUT TAPE WINDOW TINTING FITTING TOOL - GT158

I have done my chrome round the Windows buts it's not wide enough to do all the rear so wrap ordered for that little bit.

I guess the 1" wide isn't big enough to do all the rear then which is a shame and I wouldn't want to do some in this and some in vinyl as might not match so might have to do the lot in vinyl me thinks as can't find any wider than an inch :-(

Never had to take them off Guy.

At a I guess I would say you need to lift one end and then either push or pull to unclip the rest of the strip... just an educated guess though.

It's got to be push to the back as so long couldn’t push into the engine bay but yes would need to pull it up over the glass so hope don't bend it - only one way to find out :-S
