Does anyone have the instructions for the removal of the heater fan motor?
Sorry, I don't, but @Ichiban may have ?
Don't have any instructions for removal but I'd imagine it's a big, long winded job.
Whats the reason you need to remove it ?
It's a biggy Paul , I can upload the step by step no issue ..but can't see a fan failing mate. What the problem with it dude.
The motor is very noisy, sounds unbalanced if that make sense?
I can't remember if you remove the pollen filter if you can see the inside part of the motor. If you can, there maybe some debri in there.
I will remove the filter tonight.
Take the pollen filter out may be small leaves have got trapped inside which are circulating . once the filter is out if you can open all door and get a high pressure blast of compressed air through the pollen filter housing.
It may get that debris out . Then turn on the fans and see if you have any noise.
Removed the filter and gave it a good blast and still the same, had a quick look and it's going to be a very easy job to removed the motor, so if my daughter will let me should be a Saturday morning job!
Don't forget to take some pics if you can
I will do a full guide on it
We'll fitted the fan without any problem and took 10 minutes, one problem the new unit blades are a different angle and does not push air out the vents? Could I have been sent a European version as they will be pushing air from the left and not the right?
Could be. Do the rest of the tabs and mixing points line up ?
Have you tried it ?
Could be facelift and pre facelift difference , different vendor
