I'm not able to see the first 4 pictures.
Did you copy and paste them directly, or 'Upload Images...'?

Argh, I can see them all on my Windows laptop (which I used to create the guide), but none of the images can bee seen on my Android tablet!

I dragged them into position from a folder on my laptop.

They're better if you upload them and then swap them over please.

Frustratingly, I did first try to upload all the pictures, but couldn't find a way to do this from my mobile phone. So I then downloaded them all to my laptop, but still couldn't work out how to upload them from a local folder (only from an internet location), so I finally used the 'drag' option to place them where I wanted them. I was actually quite relieved to find I could easily drag them like this, but it hasn't worked out very well!

When I get a chance I'll delete the pics and reformat the text without the pictures, as they don't add much.

It'll better if you can add the pictures, it's hard to follow a guide that is all words with no pictures.. You need to click on the "Add Photos & Files", then with the cursor in the right place and once the files have uploaded, click "Thumbnail" or "Full Image"

Alternatively, send them to me somehow and I'll add them in.

Nels kindly made the same offer, but I can't upload them to a message either!

The problem is that uploading needs a URL to be inserted in order to upload each picture, but i have them all in a local folder on my laptop. It seems that I'll need to upload them all to Photobucket in order to paste in a URL. Having a 'browse' upload option might be useful?

We do have that option. It's the button circled in green in the picture below.

Clicking the image icon (circled in red) asks for a URL.

I've just spent 30-odd minutes editing the DIY but cannot be sure how it now looks, as it looked perfectly OK to me before! Unfortunately there's a right jumble of images at the end of the tread, but I dare not start deleting them as I can't see a way of undoing any changes.

I've inserted the new images and deleted the small ones, and the jumble at the end. As long as you don't delete the list where they are uploaded, then you can remove or move them about within the main document.

    Thanks.

It all went well until I clicked on the button to make all images full size.

I read it without the pics, so much clearer now!
Need to do mine, this will be useful thanks.

When I did my first DIY, I got into a mess and was rescued by SpeedyGee.
I now prepare the images first with any arrows and circles etc. and number them all. I then write up the text on a Word doc, leaving a numbered space for the pictures.

Next, load all the images onto the site, copy and paste the text and then insert the images in the correct places.

You could put all the images on first and then insert the text, as that would work too.

Either way, you've now got a top class DIY so, thank you @Zebster

I've used one of your pictures for the Guide Thumbnail.
Feel free to change it if wanted.
